What is QR Code supported Asset Tracking System? (ATS)
QR supported ATS
An Asset Tracking System that collects instant data from the QR codes placed on the operational field via mobile devices and allows all the field tasks to be easily managed and effectively reported.

The most distinctive feature of the QR supported ATS
Compared to other traditional field tracking and reporting systems, integrated usage of Mobile devices and QR codes on a common platform seamlessly ensures carrying out the field task follow-ups with perfect accuracy and removes the paper dependencies of the teams in the field.

The System Installation
The Field Teams identify the areas, machines and devices to be addressed.
The information of the places to be addressed (such as periodic maintenance for machines, areas where the cleaning is made, the work carried out for the service companies, the regions where the salespeople must be visited regularly for the sales companies etc.) are collected from the corporates and QR codes are created per these business regions.
The generated QR codes are printed out and pinned to the regions with labels.

Creating Work Orders
Work Orders are created in 3 different ways in the field:
  • 1. Periodic Procedures (automatic by the system)
  • 2. Instant Procedures
  • 3. Findings

Creating Work Orders

Periodic Procedures I
Procedures need to be done periodically.
  • - Electric board inspections
  • - CNC controls
  • - Oil/Water/Gas level, pressure etc. controls
  • - Room, restroom etc. clean up
  • - Customer visits

Creating Work Orders

Periodic Procedures II
Procedures need to be done periodically.
  • - Periodic Work Orders are created automatically by the system, per their control period. (G, H, A, 3A…)
  • - Periodic Control Work Orders are assigned to users, users see these Work Orders as pop-up notifications on their mobile devices.
  • - The user initiate this assigned task by scanning the QR code in the related area..
  • - The user marks out the completed tasks in the checklist opens and closes the task by scanning the QR code for the last time.

Creating Work Orders

Instant Procedures
Instant procedures with no dependencies to a period or planning.
  • - Machine, equipment breakdowns
  • - Area clean up needs (oil spillovers etc.)

These tasks go into 2 divisions in the Platform.
Finding: The Procedures that are conducted by a 3rd party /user followed by the determination and creation of a work order in the system
Instant: The Procedures comes to field teams with a Finding and that are done without a Work Order.

Creating Work Orders

Instant Procedures
Finding
  • - The Procedures that are determined by any system user and followed by the creation of a work order to perform the task.
  • - The user attach a photo of the Finding determined and report it to the related division.
  • - The Finding pops-in to the mobile device of the division head as a notification.
  • - The division head assigns the “Finding Work Order” to his subordinates.
  • - The Work Order which falls into the subordinate’s mobile device as a notification, then is closed after the completion of the task with a photo attached.
  • - All procedures are saved into the “Procedure Records” tab with related photos attached.

Creating Work Orders

Instant Procedures
Instant
  • - The Work Orders that are entered in the system by the field teams which are independent of the Work Orders comes as ”Findings”.
  • - Instant type Work Orders are procedures that are instantly noticed in the field and not performed periodically.
  • - Machinery breakdowns, instant area clean up task, etc.
  • - The main difference between “Instant” Work Orders and “Finding” Work Orders is that the Instant Work Orders can always be opened up in the fields tagged by QR codes. They cannot be opened unless the QR codes in the related fields are scanned.
